LORD (SSB) Safetied Sandwich Mounts are designed for applications requiring a significant difference in stiffness between vertical and horizontal direction of loading.

"Dynamically effective in all directions"

SSB Series Mounts have been developed for vehicular, construction and industrial applications. They are designed to support engines, cabs and accessory units while isolating vibration and absorbing shock.

Load rating for these mounts varies from 110 lbs. to 900 lbs. with a natural frequency of approximately 21-24 Hz. Axial or compression spring rate is 8 or more times the radial or shear spring rate. Travel is limited in both directions by rubber in compression which provides snubbing.

Mating bracket requires only through hole into which mounts and spacers are inserted and assembly is completed with standard bolt and nut. Tightening torque is standard for grade 2 or 8 bolt, no special adjustment or shimming is necessary.
